It's about constructed a completely wooden house and which consists of two levels: "house of the station Cristina", or "Ferrer N░22", it's name which it wears, it's known thanks to the direction in which it's assigned. The origin of the construction goes back up at the beginning of the XXth century and us closely linked to the development of the Compagny of the western Railroad, the main station of which was the one of Cristina. According to the estimations, the work was conceived by 1903 and lived the employee asked there to send the marching orders.

So the station exercises its functions until decade 70, when the decision to move this function towards another more modern establishment was taken. Then the building remained closed until the 90's, when it was decided to use it as place of meeting of the labor syndicate of the workers of the Compagny of Locomotives of Cuba. In 2000, the compagny decided to put back the installation to one from its employees, Daniel Brunet Hastings, living in the building with his wife and his children, the one who works at present as stagehand of the train N░1 of the road Havana-Santiago. Favors in the details of the unique architecture which the construction possesses, it constitutes inside, a unique event of the architectural ensemble of the heritage of Old Havana.

At present, even if it always preserves its conception ans its original image, the house is damaged enough because of the passage of time and the lack of maintenance. Its inhabitants realized some interventions to guarantee their safety and improve the living conditions of the building. However, because he doesn't possess big resources, the solutions are limited enough by the esthetic and environmental point of view.
